Akte Mord: Die Spur der Bilder

The discovery of a body shocks the Frankfurt art scene: Rebecca Steinweg, a talented restorer and art expert, is found dead in her studio. While the police initially assume the young woman committed suicide, doubts about this theory arise following the autopsy. The possibility of foul play cannot be definitively ruled out.

Although the homicide squad assigned to the case identifies several suspicious circumstances surrounding the deceased, no strong suspicion of foul play emerges. The investigation reaches a dead end, and the Rebecca Steinweg case is closed as unsolved—it becomes a cold case.
