First Siege of Ayutthaya Game

1548 - King Tabinshwehti of Burma has invaded Siam (Thailand) with a huge army, including the Viceroys of Prome and Toungoo, along with several hundred Portuguese mercenaries. Chakkraphat, the new king of Siam, and his marital queen consort Suriyothai, have decided to engage the Burmese on the Lumpphli Plain just north of Ayutthaya to weaken the enemy and buy time for troops under Prienthoratep to arrive. The stage is set.

The First Siege of Ayutthaya is a low-to-moderate complex game of the epic battle of Ayutthaya during the Burmese-Siamese War of 1547-1559. The game takes about 90 minutes to play. One player commands the Burmese forces and the other player commands the Siamese forces. Cards vary game play.
