Place your pieces on the four spaces marked with arrows. Distribute the green, blue, and red "stumbling blocks" onto the corresponding colored spaces. Decide who goes first. You roll the die once and move forward by the number of spaces shown.
All spaces count as playing spaces, except for the four arrow spaces and the four finish spaces. The finish space itself is the final playing space.
You may bring all your pieces into play as you wish. Jumping over other pieces is allowed, but the stumbling blocks act as obstacles in your path. If a piece lands on a stumbling block, it must remove it. Blue and green blocks are taken out of the game entirely. Red blocks may be placed anywhere in an opponent's path—except on the "risk" spaces, which must remain clear.
The yellow playing spaces marked with an "n" are risk spaces. If a piece lands on one, you roll the die again. If you roll an even number, move forward by that amount; if you roll an odd number, you must move backward. If the relevant spaces are occupied, a different piece may move as an exception, and the risk space is vacated on the next turn. The winner is the first player to get all four of their pieces to the finish.
